How to Help

There are many opportunities to give your time and talent that promote self-sufficiency and housing stability.

Make a Donation

Monetary donations help serve 3 meals a day, security staff to keep our guests safe, transportation to connect guests with available beds, as well as resources to provide access to laundry, medical services, and housing case management.

Drop off New or Used Goods

Giving a pair of new socks/underwear or gently used clothes can help someone in need get back on their feet. Drop off your donations at any Homeless Resource Center* Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

*Due to Covid-19, the Geraldine E. King Women’s Resource Center is taking donations by appointment. Please schedule at http://voaut.org/drop-off

Volunteer Time

Serving others is key to our great community. Donate your time, create a group service project, or start an internship with one of our partner organizations. Volunteers are needed to help serve meals, sort donations, and provide other general support to assist guests of the Homeless Resource Centers.
